PrinterInks is proud to partner with the Woodland Trust to work towards improving our environment. For every re-usable ink or toner cartridge that you return to us with our postage-paid return label*, we will donate £1 toward protecting our woodland heritage. In addition to helping plant trees, you will also help to:

reduce waste
Printer cartridges disposed of each year in the UK account for as much as 15,000 tons of waste plastic and metal.
The plastic used in each printer cartridge is estimated to take more than ten centuries to decompose.

consume less oil
It takes 1.5 pints of oil to produce an inkjet cartridge and 6.5 pints for a laser toner cartridge.

reduce c02 emissions
The recycling of cartridges helps to reduce CO2 emissions.

user fewer plastics
It is estimated that 4% of the world’s annual oil production is used in plastics production and an additional 3-4% during manufacture.

about our charity

The Woodland Trust is the UK’s leading charity dedicated solely to the protection of our native woodland heritage. By acquiring woodland sites they bring them into their care and protection. Many of these woods were previously under threat from development pressure or unsympathetic management. They also replace those woods that have been lost to landscape and create more new native woodland than practically anyone else in the UK.
