Returns Policy

We know that you will be pleased with your purchases from Printerinks.com. However, there may be occasions when you will need to return items to us.

EASY RETURN PROCESS
If you wish to return some merchandise, please follow the steps below to ensure that your request is processed as quickly as possible:

1) Search our Self-Service Support Centre knowledgebase for trouble-shooting steps for your printer ink and toner cartridge problems.

2) In the event that the knowledgebase does not answer your question, Please call our ink experts at 0870 042 3737 and we will provide you with technical support.

If your product is determined to be faulty, we will be able to assist you further with your returns and requests for RMA.

In order for us to process your return, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") before sending anything back.

Please note that a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number is REQUIRED to be included with all returns. Please call our customer services department at 0870 042 3737 and we will be able to assist you further with your returns and requests for RMA. Any orders returned without RMA are recycled and do not qualify for any credit.

We accept non-OEM remanufactured or compatible cartridges for return under the following policy. We allow returns and/or refunds for thirty days from the date of shipment. Unopened products or products that cannot function can be returned up to 180 days from the date of shipment. Unopened products returned after 90 days from the date of shipment and up to 180 days will be subject to a 15% restocking fee depending on circumstances relating to specific order. Any cartridges returned outside of this policy will not be accepted for any kind of credit.
 
We accept OEM cartridges for return under the following policy. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer/Name Brand) products are covered by the manufacturer’s Warranty. If you have a product that is defective, you can also contact the manufacturer (i.e. Epson, Hewlett Packard, Canon, Lexmark, etc.) directly to verify their Warranty Refunds for unopened OEM products will be processed for 15 days from day of shipment. Exchanges will be processed for un-opened product for up to 30 days from the date of shipment. Exchanges will be processed after applying a 15% restocking fee for unopened product between 31 to 90 days from day of shipment depending on circumstances relating to specific order.
 
Because some of our customers have requested new products without returning their defective merchandise, we are unable to ship or make refunds/credits until we receive the products being returned. If you need a replacement product right away, we suggest you ask for a refund and place a new order. Your new order will be processed upon payment.
 
Please allow standard delivery timing of 3-5 business days for your return to arrive in our Returns Department and up to 7 business days to process your return from the time it reaches our Returns Department.

If you purchase a combo pack and wish to do a return or refund, we the company will divide the price of the combo pack by the number of units included in the combo pack (including free promotional items) to get a per cartridge price. We will then multiply the number of units returned by the unit price previously calculated. If the quantity being returned is less than total combo pack then we will assess a 20% usage fee toward the total refund amount depending on circumstances relating to specific order.


EXCHANGE
 
If you wish to exchange a product that you purchased at a promotional price you will be required to pay the difference between the new order and the previous order.

No exchange will be processed until we have product which you are requesting to be exchanged in our possession.
 
Returns/exchanges on promotional items:
Buy 2 get 1 free promotions require that all free products that were shipped must be returned. Any product received above and beyond the free product will be eligible for normal refund/exchange guidelines.
 
Delivery charges on refunds/exchanges:
If you are charged delivery on your original order, then this delivery charge cannot be refunded unless goods supplied were faulty or the incorrect goods were delivered. If you are not charged delivery on your original order and product was returned outside thirty day full refund time period then a £2.95 delivery and handling fee will be subtracted from store credits and refunds unless goods supplied are faulty or wrongly delivered.
 
REFUND
 
No refund can be issued until we have the product in our warehouse that you are requesting refund on.
 
If at any point during the first thirty days from the purchase of the product you wish to receive full refund (except OEM's) you can contact customer service at 0870 042 3737 or simply log in to your online account and select reorder and select the order you wish to return.
 
DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS
 
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website within seven working days (not including weekends or bank holidays) from the day after delivery of your item(s) for a full refund.Any upgraded delivery costs will not be refunded.  

To cancel, you can email, fax, write to us (see contact us page for details) or call customer services on 0870 042 3737 quoting your order number. All goods must then be posted using "Recorded Delivery" to ensure their safe arrival. All postage costs are your (end user) responsibility. All returned goods must be unopened and in resalable condition. Once we have received the returned goods, we will refund your money within couple of weeks but in case of delay please allow up to 30 days for the refund to be processed.
 
Worried about your printer warranty? Don’t be. Printerinks can assure our customers that using a compatible or remanufactured printer ink rather than an original OEM brand does not affect or void the warranty of your printer. It is simply a way of cutting the running costs of your printer and will not affect your consumer rights.
