Easy Return Process
To initiate a return, please email contactus@printerinks.com with your order number. Our team aims to respond within 4 business hours. Including a photo of the item or the print error can significantly speed up your resolution.
The Smart RMA System:
In order for us to track your return instantly, we use a Digital Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA"). This ensures your package is recognised the moment it arrives at our warehouse. Once you contact us, we provide a digital code—please ensure this is visible on the outside of your package so our team can prioritise its processing.
365-Day Guarantee:
Returns are accepted on compatible and remanufactured items for up to 365 days from the date of purchase.
Fair-Use Promise:
We want you to test our products with confidence. While we cannot accept completely empty cartridges for refund, we have a generous troubleshooting allowance. If a cartridge is faulty, we focus on providing a working replacement rather than strict weight measurements, provided the unit hasn't been fully depleted through normal printing.
Returns of Faulty Compatible and Remanufactured Cartridges
- Within 180 days: We provide a pre-paid label for your return. You are eligible for a full refund or a free replacement.
- After 180 days: You can still return items for a replacement or refund for up to a full year. At this stage, the customer handles the return shipping.
Replacement Options:
- Standard: Return your item, and we dispatch your replacement the day we receive and inspect it.
- Express Resolution: If you need ink urgently, you can purchase a replacement and we will issue a full credit once your return is scanned back to us.
Returns of Non-Faulty Compatible and Remanufactured Cartridges
We accept returns on unopened/unused items in their original packaging.
- Within 180 days: Eligible for store credit (minus a 20% restocking fee to cover handling).
- After 180 days: Non-faulty items are generally not eligible for return, but please contact us to discuss recycling credits.
Original (OEM) Brand Items
Non-Faulty: Must be returned unopened within 30 days (subject to a 20% restocking fee).
Faulty: Within 30 days, we provide a pre-paid label for refund/replacement. After 30 days, these are covered by the manufacturer's direct warranty.
Damage & Lost Orders
Damage in Transit: Notify us within 5 business days with a photo. We will dispatch replacements immediately while we handle the claim with the carrier.
Lost Orders: If your tracking shows no activity for 5 business days, we will trace the package and issue a replacement or refund if it cannot be located.
When are replacements/refunds processed?
Our goal is Rapid Resolution. Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 48-72 hours):
- Refunds: Credited to your original payment method. Most banks show this within 3-4 days.
- Exchanges: Dispatched via our standard shipping the same day your return is processed.
Distance Selling Regulations
Under current regulations, you have a right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. Items must be unopened and in resalable condition. Once received, your refund will be processed within 14 days.
