How do I replace a Xerox 7500 waste cartridge?
Replacing the Xerox Phaser 7500 Waste Toner Cartridge is quite straight forward. Before you begin, you should put a few sheets of paper on the floor near your printer to ensure that no toner powder spills onto your flooring. And then make sure that your printer is switched off. Now you can open your Xerox printer’s front door. Remove the cleaning rod from the front door and put it aside.
Next, pull down the coloured tabs on the left and right side to open the waste container cover. Now pull the centre part of the waste container out until it stops. Get a plastic bag and put the used waste cartridge into this bag. Then you should seal this bag and discard it safely.
Now you need to clean the laser windows. First, insert the cleaning rod into slot D1. This is a rectangular hole in the printer. Make sure the pad on the cleaning rod is facing down. Move the cleaning rod slowly back and forth a couple of times to clean the laser windows. It is normal to find no dirt on the cloth itself, as laser toner dirt is very fine, making it difficult to see. Do the same thing for the other three remaining slots.
When done cleaning, you can store the cleaning rod back into the printer’s front door. Now you can remove the packaging from your new Xerox Phaser 7500 waste cartridge. Then align the waste cartridge on the cover area and slide it in gently. It should click into place. Finally, you can close the waste container cover and then close the front printer cover. Now you’re ready to start printing.
Do you offer refills for Phaser 7500 cartridges?
