It is easy to change the ink in your Canon TS5151 printer. First, ensure that the power is on, and lift the scanning unit (the whole unit, not just the scanner lid). The print head holder will move out into an accessible position. Push the clip on the cartridge cover forward and open the cover. Remove the old cartridge – it will just lift out. Take the new cartridge, and remove any protective tape or clip, and place it in the print head holder. Make sure that you are putting the right cartridge in the right slot (colour on the left and black on the right). Push the cartridge cover down until it clicks and close the scanning unit. Canon recommend running a print head alignment after replacing a cartridge.
